ℹ️ This policy was updated on 2026-07-14 to reflect three changes to the service: (1) the activation of the card payment module (Stripe) for Pro / SME plans, with invoice issuance and retention; (2) the introduction of the subscription system (“following” users and local authorities to receive their new content); (3) clarification of invoice handling upon account deletion (10-year legal retention with anonymization). These changes require no new consent: they fall under contract performance and legal obligations. Since 14/07/2026, a single welcome (onboarding) email may be sent to verified accounts that remain inactive one week after signing up; it relies on legitimate interest, stays informative and includes an unsubscribe link.

Content published by users (tags, photos, audio, comments) remains their property; they grant us a display license within the scope of the service (see Terms of Use, article 6).

Mapping data sources

GeoTag uses several mapping and display data sources. In accordance with the attribution requirements of these sources, we credit them here:

Address search and geocoding: Nominatim — service provided by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSM Foundation, United Kingdom). Data © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the ODbL (Open Database License).
Import of public points of interest (POI): OpenStreetMap via the Overpass API servers (overpass-api.de, overpass.private.coffee, overpass.osm.ch and other volunteer mirrors). Data © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the ODbL license. POIs imported from this source are identified in the app by the “🌍 OSM” badge.

Anyone who wishes to contribute to OpenStreetMap data (report an error, add a place) can do so directly at openstreetmap.org. Corrections are then propagated to all OSM users, including GeoTag.

Reporting illegal content

In accordance with the French Act on Confidence in the Digital Economy (LCEN) and the Digital Services Act (DSA), any user may report content they consider illegal via the “Report” button on each tag, or by email to contact@oneforall-distribution.fr. Reports are handled as promptly as possible, in accordance with Article 14.4 of the DSA.

Disputes

This website is subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, and after attempting an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have jurisdiction.
