Terms of Use

ℹ️ This policy was updated on 2026-07-14 to reflect three changes to the service: (1) the activation of the card payment module (Stripe) for Pro / SME plans, with invoice issuance and retention; (2) the introduction of the subscription system (“following” users and local authorities to receive their new content); (3) clarification of invoice handling upon account deletion (10-year legal retention with anonymization). These changes require no new consent: they fall under contract performance and legal obligations. Since 14/07/2026, a single welcome (onboarding) email may be sent to verified accounts that remain inactive one week after signing up; it relies on legitimate interest, stays informative and includes an unsubscribe link.

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use govern the use of the GeoTag service published by OneForAll Distribution. By using GeoTag, you accept these Terms in full.

2. Service description

GeoTag is a geolocated social network application that lets you post, discover and share content (text, photos, audio) anchored to real geographic locations. The service includes private messaging, a groups and events system, a subscription system (“following” users and local authorities to be informed of their new content), professional profiles, dedicated spaces for local authorities, and collaborative features.

3. Access to the service

The service is available free of charge. Registration is open to any natural person aged at least 16, in accordance with Article 8 of the GDPR and Article 45 of the French Data Protection Act. Premium features may be offered through paid subscriptions.

4. Registration and account

When registering, you undertake to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials. Any activity carried out from your account is deemed to be done by you.

Your session is maintained by a short-lived access token (15 minutes) and a refresh token stored in a secure cookie (7 days, rotating). In the event of a password change, suspected compromise or manual logout, all your active sessions are revoked within a maximum of 10 seconds.

5. Rules of use

You undertake not to:

Use the service for unlawful purposes
Publish hateful, discriminatory, violent, pornographic, defamatory or privacy-infringing content
Impersonate a third party
Attempt to compromise the security of the service (hacking, exploiting vulnerabilities, DDoS)
Collect the personal data of other users
Use bots, scrapers or unauthorized automated means
Publish unauthorized advertising content or spam
Publish content infringing the intellectual property rights of third parties

6. User content and visibility modes

You remain the owner of the content you publish (text, photos, audio). By publishing it, you grant OneForAll Distribution a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute and promote this content within the scope of the service, according to the visibility mode you have chosen.

For each tag you publish, you choose among 4 visibility modes:

🌍 Public — visible to all users and anonymous visitors
👥 All contacts — visible only to your mutual contacts
🔒 Selection — visible to the contacts you explicitly select
🔐 Private — visible only to yourself

Changing the visibility mode of an already-published tag takes effect immediately on all devices.

You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to any content you publish, in particular where it depicts identifiable third parties (image rights).

7. Moderation

GeoTag uses automated moderation by artificial intelligence (OpenAI Moderation API) on all content (text and image) as well as manual moderation by the team. We reserve the right to remove any content contrary to these Terms, without notice in case of emergency. The moderation decision will be notified to the user.

Place managers may, for the places they manage, subject new tags to prior validation before publication (“local authority validation” feature).

8. Geolocation

The service uses your geolocation to let you discover and post content. Real-time geolocation is used only during active use of the application and is not stored continuously on our servers. You can disable location sharing at any time from the settings.

9. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. OneForAll Distribution strives to ensure the availability of the service but does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted availability.

OneForAll Distribution cannot be held liable for content published by users, nor for indirect damages resulting from the use of the service.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account in the event of a breach of these Terms, after notification and an opportunity to submit your observations, except in case of emergency (illegal content, security threat).

You may delete your account at any time from the application settings. Deletion entails the erasure of all your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may amend these Terms. Users will be informed by email or notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Use of the service after this date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, and after attempting an amicable resolution, the competent courts shall be those of the jurisdiction of OneForAll Distribution's registered office, subject to applicable consumer-protection provisions.
